We are happy to announce that the ByteSync Open Beta will be launched at the end of March 2022.
We originally announced that the Open Beta would be launched on March 22, 2022.
Unfortunately, we were not able to meet that goal. Indeed, we have fallen behind in our work and made some important decisions that have significantly increased the load in the final stretch.

ByteSync Open Beta Goals
Open Beta participants will have the opportunity to discover and experience ByteSync, our remote data backup and synchronization solution. They will have the possibility, thanks to their use and their feedback, to participate in the finalization of the software development.
On our side, we will have the pleasure to meet our first audience and we will be able to analyze how the solution works in production mode with users from around the world.
Thanks to the feedback from the beta users, we will be able to identify and correct some bugs and issues not detected until then. We will start processing support tickets and improve the documentation. With the enhancement requests we will receive, we will be able to direct future developments according to the concrete needs of our first users.
About ByteSync
ByteSync is a remote data synchronization solution.
It can be used as a complement or alternative to FTP / SFTP synchronization and backup applications.
Based on the cloud and rsync, POW ByteSync is easy to deploy and provides high performance synchronization.
How to enter the ByteSync Open Beta?
Registration will open on March 22, 2022, the day the Open Beta is launched. After registering, a user will be able to download the software and use it for free in the ENTERPRISE version during the whole Beta period.
Initially, the Open Beta will be limited to the first 100 registred users. We will then raise this limit as we go along.
The software, as well as the documentation and support, will be available in English and French only. In order to better understand how the solution works and to be able to communicate easily with us, we expect participants to be able to read and write in one of these 2 languages.
The Open Beta is planned to last 2 months. More details will be given at the launch.
Incentives
All users who effectively take part in the Open Beta will receive discount coupons to buy ByteSync at low rates. They will be able to use them freely themselves or give them on to others.
The following incentives will be offered to participants who have logged in to the software at least once:
- A “75% off” coupon for a 1-year subscription, with a level of your choice (LITE, PROFESSIONAL or ENTERPRISE).
- A “65% off” coupon for a 1-year subscription, with a level of your choice (LITE, PROFESSIONAL or ENTERPRISE).
The following incentive will be offered to participants who, in addition to having logged in at least once to the software, have opened at least one support ticket:
- 3 coupons “100% off” valid for 3 one-month subscriptions in the ENTERPRISE version.
